Planning, implementation and monitoring of feeder road type B and rural roads including bridge/culvert. Planning, implementation and monitoring of growth centre/market development. Planning, implementation and monitoring of small scale water resource schemes at Thana and Union level. Construction of primary schools, cyclone shelter and river ghats. Planning, implementation and monitoring of maintenance of rural infrastructure including Rural Maintenance Programme. Prepare Thana/Union/Pouroshava Plan Books, Maps, Local level Data Base, Design Manuals,Technical Specifications. Develop skill of LGED officials through implementation of various training programmes.
